Original
Available High atop Fajata Butte in Chaco Canyon New Mexico there exists a place where sunlight pierces between three sandstone slabs creating “daggers” of light against a stone wall. Ancients of the Chacoan culture observed this and created spiral petroglyphs which record celestial timings. This “dagger” view is summer solstice. The majesty of the landscape and many petroglyphs inspired this painting. Two Ravens
where companions on this adventure.
